FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Palau is not considered a beginner destination. Many of its most famous dive sites feature strong currents, deeper profiles, and blue-water conditions, which require confident buoyancy control and situational awareness.
For this reason, Palau is best suited to experienced recreational divers. The recommended minimum is Advanced Open Water certification (or equivalent), with around 30 logged dives and prior experience in current diving. While all dives in Palau are conducted with professional guides by law, divers are still expected to be comfortable managing themselves in dynamic conditions.
That said, confident divers who have continued diving after certification and are eager to expand their experience will find Palau to be an incredibly rewarding destination.
Our dive trips include professional guides, tanks, weights, and snacks. Equipment rentals and transportation can be added as needed.
