Our Adult, Child & Infant Emergency Care course is a comprehensive training program designed to teach participants how to respond to emergencies. The course combines CPR classes, first aid courses, and AED courses into one program. Anyone aged 10 and up (parental consent required for participants under 18) can enroll.
It meets all international standards, is OSHA* and ILCOR compliant, and has been accepted by the United States Coast Guard (USCG).

What you can expect to learn:
- Assess emergencies and evaluate victims
- Perform 1-person CPR for infants, children, and adults
- Use an AED effectively for both adults and children
- Administer first aid for common workplace incidents and injuries
- Confidently activate or alert emergency medical services (EMS)
There are two components to your training to receive your certification. The first is academics and the second is skills. You must first pass your academics training to continue to the second phase and work with an instructor in a classroom setting.
CPR Classes for Adults, Children, and Infants
CPR can be the difference between life and death in emergencies. This course provides hands-on CPR classes to people of all ages. Learning CPR in practice-based settings helps prepare you for real-world situations.
Hands-on training helps participants:
- Develop muscle memory for correct chest compression depth and rhythm
- Practice clearing airways and delivering rescue breaths effectively
- Feel confident, knowing they can take action during high-stress moments
Child CPR Classes
Young bodies require different CPR methods than adults, and this course ensures you’re equipped to respond properly. Infants demand gentler and more precise handling during emergencies. Pediatric CPR training focuses on age-specific techniques to save newborns and toddlers.
Adult CPR Classes
Adult CPR remains a crucial skill, as most cardiac emergencies involve adults. You’ll practice chest compressions and rescue breathing designed for adult anatomy and physiology.
What is the difference between adult and pediatric CPR?
Adults and older children receive breaths that cover both the nose and mouth, while infant rescue breaths only cover the nose, taking care not to over-inflate tiny airways. These modifications ensure that CPR is effective and safe across different age groups, accounting for anatomical and physiological differences.
Adults: CPR involves using both hands to deliver compressions at a depth of at least 2 inches, with a compression rate of 100-120 per minute.
Children: The compressions are slightly gentler, using one or both hands depending on the child’s size, and the depth is approximately 2 inches.
Infants: CPR requires an even more delicate approach, with two fingers used for the compressions and a depth of about 1.5 inches.
Additionally, rescue breaths vary between age groups.
First Aid Course
Prompt and proper first aid treatment prevents minor injuries from escalating into life-threatening conditions. This portion of our first aid course teaches techniques for:
- Wound management, like applying bandages and controlling bleeding
- Managing choking incidents in children and adults
- Handling sprains, fractures, or dislocations
- Recognizing allergic reactions and assisting with an EpiPen
First aid knowledge improves outcomes for the injured and fosters a culture of preparedness and proactive care in any setting.
AED Course
Do you know how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)? Most public spaces now have AEDs readily available. Our AED course teaches you how to operate one correctly.
What is an AED?
An AED is a portable device that delivers an electric shock to restart a heart that has stopped beating. It’s an important tool in cardiac arrest, significantly increasing survival rates when used appropriately.
What you'll learn in the AED course:
- Understanding how AEDs work and when they're needed
- Identifying shockable rhythms vs. non-shockable rhythms
- Step-by-step instructions for using an AED on adults and children
- Maintaining personal safety while using the device
Our AED course and CPR classes can help you assist someone in cardiac arrest and one day may save a life.
