Just finished my open water certification and I couldn’t have had a better experience. Rachel was my instructor during pool training and her husband Tom was the DM. They both were so kind and patient with me even while I was anxious doing the skills. After that I had Derrick and Patrick for my lake weekend and they were both incredible too. They made us all feel comfortable in the water and made sure we had an awesome time.

Fun and relaxed course. Great instructor

I really enjoyed getting my SDI Open Water Scuba Diver certification through Scuba Adventures. Barry and Greg were great instructors and I appreciated how they were always open to questions and never made anyone feel rushed. The conditions weren’t the best at Scuba Ranch for our open water dive weekend, but I always felt I was in good hands. Highly recommended!

Had a great dive certification experience with the team here! I started with discovery after talking with them to see if I would like it. Did discovery twice, then moved into the open water certification. Everyone is great and so kind. Barry was a great instructor! It’s not rushed, they make sure you understand everything and are comfortable. I couldn’t recommend them enough! Even at the scuba ranch on the worst visibility weekend, there was no rushing it was go with the flow, pivot when needed and work through it. Thank you to everyone on the team that made this possible! I am now a certified scuba diver 🤿 !! Bring on the BLUE WATER!!

I just completed my OW certification, along with Advanced Buoyancy with Scuba Adventures and I don't plan on using anyone else!! I have had 3 different instructors (Brent, Tom, and Windall for 3 different courses), and each one was not only professional, but kind and FUN. The professionals I dealt with in the shop were mainly women, which made me very comfortable and all were so helpful in helping me select my gear and giving advice on how to handle my hair. My son was going to certify with me, but things did not work out that way, and the staff helped me navigate getting some of the costs back, something I was NOT expecting, and only solidified my decision to work with them for both gear and certifications. I'm so happy I made the decision to learn to scuba with Scuba Adventures!!

I completed the scuba refresher course, and it was awesome. The instructors were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I am ready to dive!

My wife and I recently finished our Open Water Scuba Cert class with Scuba Adventures and could not have been more pleased with the experience. The whole thing was a first class operation and the instructors were amazing. We worked with Autumn and Patrick in the pool and Enrique, Paul, and Greg led our lake dives. All of them were fantastic and genuine, and made sure all students felt comfortable and understood the skills and lessons.Scuba Adventures will be our go-to for gear and education moving forward!

This was one of the best learning experiences I have had. The instructors were encouraging and supportive. I can't wait to continue my scuba knowledge with Scuba Adventures!

Amazing instruction. Dave is the model instructor all teachers should strive to be. 10/10 would take any scuba class with this school, especially if Dave is instructing.

I was very nervous about learning to scuba dive so a Discovery class was offered as an introduction. It was great!! I did a private Discovery lesson with Michaela as the instructor and she was AMAZING!!! She explained everything to me, demonstrated slowly and then gave me time ( and positive feedback) when I tried the skill. Can’t say enough about how completely AWESOME Michaela was and how excited I am to get certified now!!

I just wrapped up my SDI Open Water Certification with Scuba Adventures Plano. Everyone associated with the store was amazing, from the instructors to the people working in the shop.My pool and classroom instructor Barry was great. I was the only person in the class due to the others who were scheduled to attend had to postpone. We were able to get through everything a little quicker so some of the other class session we practiced skills and even some buoyancy stuff. I was even able to try some different bcd’s and pick his brain about diving.With the pool sessions complete I attended the open water dive session at Scuba Ranch. Dave Filas was my instructor for this part of the class and he was great! In between dives we had some great conversations about some of the other technical areas of diving. Everyone was amazing and I really enjoyed the open water sessions even with the poor visibility in the lake.I would wholeheartedly recommend going to Scuba Adventures Plano to get certified. I am planning on bringing my fiancée there so she can do a scuba refresher course before our honeymoon.Thanks again to everyone at Scuba Adventures Plano!

Barry is a amazing dive instructor ensuring each student is receiving the individual assistance they need as they progress through the course. I would highly recommend Barry and the the Scuba Adventures team.

If you are wiling to face your water fears, this is the place to be at! Best instructor any scuba student can ask for! A big thank you to Barry and those that were involved with the training. I appreciate all the vital information and for a wonderful time at the lake.

Just finished a refresher with Derek Coleman. He had a great sense of humor, extremely knowledgeable, and very patient. Would highly recommend any class he is teaching. Overall fantastic experience.

Windal Adam’s, Foster, and Greg were outstanding instructors. Very patient and made sure we were comfortable with all skills. I would highly recommend these guys and Scuba Adventures Plano for all your scuba needs and instruction!!

My sister and I had Windal, Greg and TJ for our pool training weekend and they made the process very comfortable. I have no prior diving experience and it was wonderful for beginners that are a little anxious to learn. We had Windal, Foster, Greg for our lake weekend dives and it was so much fun! GREAT PLACE! Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Good selection of equipment.I went for snorkeling lessons (hard to find). Instructor was excellent. Answered all my questions and spent plenty of time working with me to become comfortable and capable. He gave me the confidence that with some practice I would enjoy snorkeling as I was never able to do before! Thanks so much!

My girlfriend, daughter, and I went here to perform a refresher on diving since it had been many years for my girlfriend and I and my daughter was fairly new to diving. Paul instructed 8 of us in the pool they have at the shop.Paul was very patient and understanding with those with less experience. He was very thorough and spent extra time helping us with the large group. He had suggestions on finning and setting up our dive gear. We all felt he went the extra mile and appreciated his efforts. I thought the pool and equipment was excellent also. We were all very happy with the experience and would recommend it to everyone.

Scuba Adventures is a great learning center and dive shop! Barry is an excellent trainer who really cares about his students and their success in diving. Autumn, is very knowledgeable and skilled at helping choose your personal gear. Overall Scuba Adventures wants to help you succeed and become a skilled diver!!**UPDATE**My son and I went on a trip to Key Largo this past week. I never realized the invaluable information Barry taught me until we went diving!! From simple weight checks to breathe control. There are so many people who get their certification and can't do a weight check!! The breathe control techniques Barry taught me, I saw in action in Florida. Since the reefs are protected and you can't touch them, breathe control is vital to success. I was able to get so close to the reef and never touch it by controlling my breathing. Without Barry's instruction I would not have been able to get so close to the reefs, there were several people on our dives who could not get close due to poor bouancy control. Thank you Barry and Scuba Adventures for all you do!!!!!

Had a great re- learning experience and a fun time. Been over 25 yrs since last dive, I now have the confidence to make some dive trips ! The dive master was well versed and helped me get back to speed quickly. The rest of the team was helpful as well in getting my gear updated 🙂

Got scuba certified here and had an amazing experience. Really helpful and friendly staff to guide you through and help if anything goes wrong. We did the open water checkout at San Marcos with crystal clear, warm water and did 4 dives there.
