Windal Adam’s, Foster, and Greg were outstanding instructors. Very patient and made sure we were comfortable with all skills. I would highly recommend these guys and Scuba Adventures Plano for all your scuba needs and instruction!!

My sister and I had Windal, Greg and TJ for our pool training weekend and they made the process very comfortable. I have no prior diving experience and it was wonderful for beginners that are a little anxious to learn. We had Windal, Foster, Greg for our lake weekend dives and it was so much fun! GREAT PLACE! Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Good selection of equipment.I went for snorkeling lessons (hard to find). Instructor was excellent. Answered all my questions and spent plenty of time working with me to become comfortable and capable. He gave me the confidence that with some practice I would enjoy snorkeling as I was never able to do before! Thanks so much!

My girlfriend, daughter, and I went here to perform a refresher on diving since it had been many years for my girlfriend and I and my daughter was fairly new to diving. Paul instructed 8 of us in the pool they have at the shop.Paul was very patient and understanding with those with less experience. He was very thorough and spent extra time helping us with the large group. He had suggestions on finning and setting up our dive gear. We all felt he went the extra mile and appreciated his efforts. I thought the pool and equipment was excellent also. We were all very happy with the experience and would recommend it to everyone.

Scuba Adventures is a great learning center and dive shop! Barry is an excellent trainer who really cares about his students and their success in diving. Autumn, is very knowledgeable and skilled at helping choose your personal gear. Overall Scuba Adventures wants to help you succeed and become a skilled diver!!**UPDATE**My son and I went on a trip to Key Largo this past week. I never realized the invaluable information Barry taught me until we went diving!! From simple weight checks to breathe control. There are so many people who get their certification and can't do a weight check!! The breathe control techniques Barry taught me, I saw in action in Florida. Since the reefs are protected and you can't touch them, breathe control is vital to success. I was able to get so close to the reef and never touch it by controlling my breathing. Without Barry's instruction I would not have been able to get so close to the reefs, there were several people on our dives who could not get close due to poor bouancy control. Thank you Barry and Scuba Adventures for all you do!!!!!

Had a great re- learning experience and a fun time. Been over 25 yrs since last dive, I now have the confidence to make some dive trips ! The dive master was well versed and helped me get back to speed quickly. The rest of the team was helpful as well in getting my gear updated 🙂

Got scuba certified here and had an amazing experience. Really helpful and friendly staff to guide you through and help if anything goes wrong. We did the open water checkout at San Marcos with crystal clear, warm water and did 4 dives there.

Darren was great. Very detailed and informative. I realized I really needed the refresher course. He spent tbe time with people in the class who needed extra instruction.

I love this place! We recently completed our open water certification down in San Marcos and had a blast even with below freezing air temperatures! From the beginning a few weeks ago in the pool with Barry and Derek, to Spring Lake with Windal and Paul, it was a wonderful experience! Michaela at the shop was extremely helpful and willing to stop whatever she was doing to make sure we were fitted for equipment properly, or to just sit with us and talk dive computers for a couple hours. They all love diving and it shows!It was a wonderful feeling when random people(not with our group) would approach us at Spring Lake and enthusiastically comment on how much they love the people/instructors from Scuba Adventures. Their reputation in the community is great and it shows!Another positive side note:There was a small child in our group of three at Spring Lake. Windal and Paul did an amazing job ensuring she was having fun working through the skills and never left her side. My son will be getting his open water cert soon and I'm so grateful I was able to watch them work with her underwater. It really put my mind at ease.We made the right choice going with Scuba Adventures and are planning to take more classes with them soon!

Scuba Adventures Plano made efforts for us to get our refresher course in earlier because of winter storm soon to come.Derrick was a great instructor! So many practical tips to help remember important diving techniques.

Derek was patient and fun. Because of an incoming storm they had to combine classes and the pool was pretty full. Derek took time to work with every participant. Facilities were comfortable.

I’ve used scuba adventures for 5 years 2 refresher courses for myself. My husband got certified and so did my step daughter with them. Derrick is awesome, patient and very knowledgeable. He makes it fun! 10 out 10 recommend!

This place is amazing! They helped me from day one with getting the equipment I needed and I have had a great experience ever since. The classroom and pool work training with Enrique was awesome! He helped me make sure I felt confident with all the skills and had enough time to actually become comfortable. Then the open water test with Barry, Autumn, and Tom was great! They helped a ton with great feedback and gave plenty of time to feel comfortable in the open water. I look forward to taking more classes through this place!

My husband and I took CPR with Dave and he was really awesome! He explained things really well and kept it simple. It’s a lot to remember but I feel so much more confident I can help in an emergency after having him teach us! You can also tell he’s got a very kind heart and is just a good soul.He’s also a dive instructor and my husband has a desire to learn so he will be back. I highly recommend learning here as Dave is top notch!

Scuba Adventures in Plano is a great place for, equipment and training. Derek was a fantastic instructor in our refresher course.

I recently completed the Open Water Dive certification, and can’t say enough great things about Scuba Adventures Plano and their staff and instructors. I came into this with zero Scuba experience, and they made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process starting with the selection of my personal gear. I strongly recommend them and have already booked another class for additional training.

Completed my scuba certification and have to say the Brent & Barry were amazing! They were both patient and knowledgeable. The staff in the scuba shop are also all so sweet. If you’re considering getting your certification just do it here (& sign up for a private lesson if you’re able though I saw Barry with a group and he was great with them)

Enjoyed every second of my time with Dave and Bonnie our instructors. The overall experience with the Scuba Adventures from walking through the doors to get set up with gear and classes, to the weekend pool time all the way to our weekend at the lake at Scuba Ranch in Terrell was an amazing and awesome experience! I have now taken a few courses through this shop, and I have experienced a massively high level of commitment to customer service, safety, and professionalism. Notably Autumn who I believe manages the store, and most recent dive instructor Mitzi Holdren.This past weekend Mitzi led my rescue diver training and Autumn assisted on the 1st of 2 days. Autumn, as always, was extremely helpful and supportive. I especially feel compelled to call out Mitzi as the best dive instructor with whom I’ve ever worked. I hold advanced open water and several specialty certifications.I told Mitzi I’m not there to brag about a new “card”, rather I felt a moral obligation to learn rescue diver skills. Mitzi was incredibly patient, instructive, and tough when she needed to be. I failed to adequately demonstrate the necessary skills on Saturday, and she clearly stated that to me, but she went out of her way to make it clear that this was not a failure, it was a normal part of a very challenging process. She then made herself available to me the next day to work on the skills, giving me every possible opportunity to perform the skills sufficiently to pass the corse.This was not a certification I “bought”. It was earned through hard work and commitment on my part, but without the professionalism, clear communication, integrity, expertise, sense of humor, and tough love from my instructor, I would not have achieved what may be the hardest thing I’ve ever done.Thank you Brent and Scuba Adventures for connecting me with Mitzi. I am a better diver thanks to you all.

I just finished up my scuba refresher course @ Scuba Plano. It was a great experience and Derrick was AWESOME! He made the class fun, he was very knowledgeable, and he made sure to answer any questions that we had.

I have to shout out Scuba Adventures. We booked for snorkeling class months in advance because we were going to open water to swim with whalesharks and my daughter had never snorkeled. A booking snafu potentially could have ruined our training but they demonstrated the highest customer service and resolved our issue quickly. Thanks to Doug, our instructor, we accomplished our bucketlist goal with confidence.Tip- they may require a doctor's note to ok training so be sure to fill out health forms asap and give yourself time.

I took the Open Water Scuba course and loved it. Barry did a great job instructing and handling and normalizing anxieties I had including those I didn't know I had.Everyone in the shop was super helpful when it came to gear knowing pros and cons, and comparing features across models.
